Hello!
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Roc Dance. We are a locally based Dance Studio in Webster, NY. We offer classes to dancers of all ages and abilities and believe that the skills learned at our dance studio go beyond dance steps.
We are very fortunate to have partnered with the organisation Muddy’s Buddies. Muddy’s Buddies is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to aiding children and families in need.
Muddy’s Buddies matches children with high school and college sports teams, clubs and classrooms, and in our case dance studios! The teams and groups “adopt” a child and the child may become the guest of honor at games, meetings, concerts and other events. Teams and groups share whatever time and efforts they have to be a friend, a positive role model and a support system for the Buddy. The relationship is built on love, friendship, and learning. Muddy’s Buddies also sends families on “Daycations” to local amusement parks, museums, zoos, sporting events, concerts, musicals and much more. A chance for families to enjoy their time together and chance for kids to feel like kids.
Roc Dance has our own ‘Buddy’ Gianna, who loves dance! Gianna is a wonderful 9 year old who has sadly been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Our students at Roc Dance wanted to create an opportunity to perform alongside Gianna, and we are going to do exactly that! On December 9th, our dancers will gather at Eastview Mall to spread some Holiday cheer, perform a festive dance routine and hope to raise awareness for a fantastic charity that is making a difference to young children’s lives.
You can help their wonderful cause by making a donation to Muddy’s Buddies. Your donation will support the Muddy’s Buddies mission and children and families across Rochester whose lives have been touched by Cancer and other chronic illnesses.Roc Dancers will be sporting a fun and festive ‘Holiday’ t-shirt on December 9th, and to thank you for your generous contribution your business logo will be printed on our t-shirt as a sponsor of our performance.
