Rocco is our handsome 8 month old Rotweiller
who has made such an impact on our family
and brood in the past 6 months. We have
fallen in love with him and the bromance he
has with Che is enough to melt your heart ❤️

Sadly Rocco has several issues with his bones. We
took him to the vets with a limp and got referred to a specialist where after CT scans and Xrays they
found many issues with 6 joints. The specialist
there quoted us over £36k or euthanasia. We were heartbroken and the news devastated our family.

Not willing to give up hope, we have applied to vets across the country and abroad. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, not many are willing to take him
on during this busy time.

Then I met an amazing lady online called Georgina,who has run a Rottweiler Rehabilitation for many
years.She reached out to me after reading my plea for help and has guided me through what is needed for our pup and to not give up hope till we have
spoken to a specialist in Bristol.

We sent off the report and scans and Matt the vet
is more than happy to give Rocco a chance and said he is NOT to be put to sleep!

Rocco has issues with both front elbows, both
ankles and has hip dysplasia. He will need
emergency surgery on his left leg which is causing
the most amount of pain. He will then go on to have the other surgeries in time. For the hip dysplasia
there is not always a need for invasive surgery so
we are writing up a plan of intense hydro and
physiotherapy.

We know that we are facing a challenge over
the next 18 months and he will need devotion,
patience, love and determination and we are
fully prepared to go all the way to save our
chatty cheeky pup.

Life without Rocco is inconceivable now and
Che would be lost without his boy.

All we ask for is some help, even if it’s just a few
pound. We know lots of you enjoy our videos
and funny stories of the shenanigans he gets
up to with Che. We promise to take you on
this journey with us. The first surgery is booked for June 1st. Please keep him in your thoughts and
