Camp Ecuador Expedition

I am embarking on a life changing expedition to Ecuador with Camps International, completing four weeks of environmental, community and wildlife project work. I shall be staying in three different camps, one high in the Andes, a second deep in the rainforest and a third on the pacific coast. I shall be living in rural communities, experiencing first hand the wide-ranging issues facing the country.  I'll be helping on projects to plant trees, to build vital facilities for local communities and to protect indigenous wildlife.

I need to raise £4140, £1490 of which goes directly into the communities in which I will be working.

 If deforestation in the Amazon continues at its present rate, the rainforest may disappear within my lifetime. This is my opportunity to make a difference . I may only be one person but I believe everyone has the potential to make an impact on the world in order to preserve it for future generations.
