Robyn Jones Memorial Bench

Robyn Jones was a wonderful friend and colleague. She worked for many years at the Royal Bank, made friends, and touched lives. Robyn was active and vibrant. While working in RBC Port Coquitlam, she motivated me and a group of friends to regularly go and climb the Coquitlam Crunch. For all of us, thoughts turn to Robyn when we visit the Crunch. It was one of her favourite hikes.
I have chosen to honour Robyn by erecting a bench on the Coquitlam Crunch with a plaque in Robyn's name. Money raised will go toward the bench, plaque, and a 10 year maintenance contract with the City of Coquitlam. The cost is $2500. I would like to put the bench at the top of the old stairs. Benches must go through the planning process so the sooner that money is raised, the quicker the request will be processed.
I will be in charge of expenses. Any extra monies will be applied to the bench, extending the maintenance contract. Beyond that, money will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
