Robin runs the Chicago Marathon for the Lupus Foundation of America.
Autoimmune disease affects everyone, some more than others. For me, it’s Lupus. Yet it's with family, friends and a community behind me that keeps the fight moving forward.
2020 has been a tough and troubling time for everyone. Throughout this year, I’ve started to find peace and comfort in daily running routines. I even ran my first full marathon. When thinking of future challenges, I’ve decided to really push myself while also fundraising for the Lupus Foundation of America - by running the Chicago MARATHON.
On Sunday October 10th, I will be running 26.2 miles of roads, trails, bridges, and hills honoring those who've been affected by Lupus including myself and my daughter Grace.
From the bottoms of my heart I greatly appreciate your generosity!!
To all our local friends and family, if you see me training throughout town please beep, wave and hoot and holler! I love the encouragement.
