Roberto’s Brain Surgery Fund

Roberto Gomez Gallegos suffers from epilepsy and extensive brain damage with elements of an autistic and schizoid profile. He presents socialization and learning problems, as well as frequent attacks of explosive and intense aggressiveness towards members of his family, neighbors and strangers.

Roberto’s complex neurological and neuropsychiatric condition has subjected his family to harsh tests, preventing a peaceful family coexistence and his integration into any social space. Despite multiple neurological treatments and alternative techniques, there has been no improvement and doctors recommend performing functional microsurgery, which they point to as the only alternative for him.

The cost of this surgery exceeds 45,000 dollars, expense which is not covered by Roberto’s health insurance. For this reason, we appeal to your high sense of solidarity by requesting financial support to raise funds to help cover surgery costs and medical expenses for Roberto. This surgery would provide our son with the opportunity to continue living with a better quality of life.
