Robert Twiford Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Melissa McQuade, the niece of Donna and Robert Twiford. On the evening of December 5, 2022, Robert, lovingly known as Bob/Bobby, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on the Long Island Expressway. Bob leaves behind his wife Donna, daughters Cristina and Stephanie, son Bobby and granddaughter Arianna.

Bob, who was a Lindenhurst native and raised his family in West Babylon, was a caring, loving, compassionate and often goofy husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bob was a hard-working man who worked tirelessly to support his family every day without complaint.

An avid bowler, Bob earned his nickname "BT-Express" by achieving numerous 300s throughout his career. Expert on all things Seinfeld, he would quote it throughout his everyday life. Bobby also left behind his four-legged fur babies, who he adored and loved to sneak burger king to.

Bob was a die-hard Yankees, Giants and Rangers fan and never missed an opportunity to taunt all of the Mets, Jets and Islanders fans in the family.

His unexpected and shocking passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his devastated wife, children and grandchild.
