Robert Parks Memorial for Oliva

Robert W. Parks Jr. was taken from his family and friends too early in life at age 49. As a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend Robbie will always hold a special place in our lives and hearts. He was the most loving father to Olivia his daughter. The two of them hung out like buddies and as Robbie grew ill Oliva was a wonderful loving caregiver to her dad. As a loving son and brother Robbie was able to spend every Wednesday (The Parks Family night) with his parents and sister Pam while enjoying his mother's authentic Italian cooking.
Even though Robert was so involved with Olivia's life he still had time to give back to the community. Robert was devoted to the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County as he sat on their Board of Directors for many years. In addition he was a valuable member of the MCS committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. If anybody needed a volunteer Robbie was the first to step up.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower in Fort Myers between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created to keep everybody up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left. Since Oliva is so young we thought it would be most helpful to raise funds for her support and education. If you would like to donate , just click on the donate button and donate what you can. If you are not able to donate you can still leave a message and comments for Robbie's family to read. Also, please make sure to follow this page so that you receive any updates regarding the Celebration of Life event.
