On Friday March 9, 2018 Robert James Dietrich Jr passed away suddenly. Robert will foundly be remembered by his son Eric Dietrich (spouse Liberty and children Zade, Zalene) and his daughter Jessica (Dietrich) Gonzalez ( spouse Alex and children Jocelyn, Madelyn). Also by is remaining Brother and Sister.
Robert James Dietrich and Jean Irene Dietrich gave birth to Robert Jr July 16, 1953 in Los Gatos Ca. His family relocated to Southern California 1957. He married his high school girlfriend and had his son Eric 1972. In 1980 he moved to Creston Ca to help on his 89 acre family ranch on O'Donovan Rd. He then married his second wife and had his daughter Jessica in 1983.
While in Creston Robert was very active in the community. Especially in the Creston Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed at Lucky's Grocery and then Ralph's Grocery for over 35 years.
Whether you knew him by Rob, Rob Bob, Mr. Dietrich , Dad or his favorite Papa, you knew how truly special he was. He was extremely devoted to his family , near and far. He was a great friend to many. His dazzling smile would capture you. His love for everyone around him would amaze you. Some of his best moments were with his 4 grand children. He enjoyed riding bikes with them, fishing or simply putting up some Christmas lights together . He made sure each one knew how special they truly were. His compassion for life, animals and people was infectious. If you knew him.... YOU LOVED HIM!
His family welcomes you to celebrate his life April 15, 2018 at The Creston Community Center 5110 Swayze rd Creston Ca at 2pm.
