Robert Carpenter & Family as They Fight Cancer

On April 19, Robert Carpenter went to Urgent Care for what he thought was a stomach bug. Hours later, he was being told he had cancer. After many tests, scans, and a stay in the hospital, he was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of B-Cell Lymphoma: Burkitt Lymphoma. This rare cancer is fast-growing and aggressive, but we won't let it take us down! Linda, Stefanie, Ryan, and his partner Megan have all dedicated themselves to Big Bob's care, taking leaves of absence from their respective places of employment & moving from Atlanta to Newnan.

This journey will be a bumpy road with 18 weeks of intensive chemotherapy and home health care. We realize that we can't do this alone. Bob has always been the rock of his family – a devoted husband, a loving father, and a pillar of strength to those around him despite all he has been through. Now, as he fights this relentless disease, we are determined to stand by his side, offering whatever support we can. However, the financial strain of medical bills, care supplies, and daily living expenses weigh heavily on the Carpenter family.
