Robb’s Story

Many of you know Robb…he is a father, a believer in prayer, a small business owner, an extraordinary meeting facilitator and lecturer, and a friend.

Robb ran into a deer while riding his motorcycle last Friday. And yes…it’s bad.

He is currently in the St. Louis University Hospital after being life-flighted with severe injuries. The most critical is the head trauma he experienced. This type of trauma typically requires extended hospitalization and follow-up with long-term rehabilitation. He is currently on a ventilator and sedated to the point where his medical team cannot yet assess his brain function.

Robb currently resides in southern Illinois. His family has come from Georgia, Michigan, New York, and Kentucky to be with him. They have left their jobs, homes, and lives to support Robb and make the many decisions that need to be made on his behalf, of which there are many based on the current circumstances.

Robb owns Converging Solutions, a dynamic small business that designs and develops learning strategies and solutions for businesses. He donates many hours to non-profits and tries to position his business to support these efforts. His company continues to function based on the actions of his team. We will continue working on his (and his family’s) behalf.

I’m setting up this Go Fund Me page to support Robb and his family during these incredibly trying times. Your donations will assist with travel expenses and basic needs while they are at his side. And, of course, they will help with his medical expenses, which will be huge.

So many people have reached out asking how they can help. And today, someone suggested setting up a Go Fund Me page. So that is what I’m doing. Sending flowers or cards is kind, but providing the kind of help they need right now is kinder. So here you go! An opportunity to support and help. Robb can’t smell flowers or read cards right now, but I know he would appreciate any financial support for his family while they support him.

All funds from this account will be sent to the family to support Robb in the best way possible. Donations will enable family members to stay by his side, defray medical expenses and support the family that Robb supports.
