Rob Seaman's Family Needs Help

I apologize in advance if this is poorly written. I haven't ever done this before. My name is Kathie and I have been friends with Charlene (Mobley) Seaman for over 40 years. She met her husband Rob while we were on vacation together. I accepted Rob with open arms and we have been friends ever since. Charlene and Rob are not only my friends, they are like family to me.

What started with an infection in his arm. led to Rob Seaman being hospitalized due to the infection spreading throughout his body, sedated and put on a ventilator. Rob is also in kidney failure and needs to undergo dialysis multiple times a wekk. The doctors were unable to get his infection under control or his dialysis port repositioned despite several attempts and procedures.

Finally, on September 8th, doctors were able to get a port in and start dialysis. Unfortunately this port is not viable long term. Rob is currently off the ventilator but still very, very sick.

Due to Covid, Rob has been limited to one visitor a day. As you can imagine, this is very difficult for his family, children, grandchildren and friends.

Rob's wife Charlene was able to get special permission for their youngest  daughter to go visit dad - he's that sick.

At this point, the reality is, we don't know if Rob will ever get to go home.  We need everyone's positive thoughts and prayers.

On top of all of this, Charlene has to continue working to make ends meet. She works two jobs but has had to miss a lot of time the last few weeks due to Rob's sickness. She is trying to find a way to balance working, taking care of their daughter and spending time at the hospital but is struggling.

Bills don't stop when you or your loved ones are sick. There are a lot of expenses insurance won't cover on top of the added expenses for gas, parking, meals and so on.

This fundraiser is to help Charlene while Rob is sick. Charlene has never been one to ask for help, but she needs it now. She doesn't know how she is going to get through this and still pay the bills. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.

The money will go toward groceries, electric and the mortgage, plus insurance bills once they start rolling in. All money will be given directly to Charlene. This will also allow her to take time off to spend with Rob if needed.
