Rob Mercer is in the ICU with COVID. Please help!

BJJ and Judo community, please help one of our own.

Rob Mercer, a practitioner of both BJJ and Judo, is currently in the hospital ICU due to COVID-19. As of this writing, the situation is dire. Rob has been put on an ECMO machine for heart and lung bypass. We are wishing for the best.

Rob is a father of three, including a new baby. His wife Heather (also a BJJ practitioner) only has three weeks left on her maternity leave, so the family needs all the help we can give.

Rob is a young, healthy athlete with a heart of gold. He is an incredible father. Just two months ago, he completed a 215km walk to raise funds for the survivors of the Indigenous residential schools massacre. Rob represents the absolute best of our community.
