Chloe is an amazing and fiesty 7 year old girl.
On Wednesday (6/8/16), Chloe and her twin sister Eden were sent up to get ready for bed. Her big brother, Noah took their dog out back to play. Chloe decided to open her window to talk to Noah in the back yard. She leaned too hard and the screen popped out and she fell from her second floor bedroom onto the concrete patio. The grill broke her fall and probably saved her life.
She has a major skull fracture and had surgery Thursday morning around 3am to decompress her brain by removing some clots.
96 hours after her fall, Chloe is awake, walking, talking and is out of the ICU. The neurosurgeon was very optimistic. She is a miracle. But this miracle child has a long road ahead of her. She will be in the hospital for a while for rehab and therapy.
As a close friend to the Schmick family, I know first hand how loving and giving this family is. And they would never ask for anything. So I am asking on their behalf. The money raised will go to the unknown... the rehab, therapy, anything that insurance will not cover. Anything is appreciated and means so much.
