Hi Lovers!
My biggest wound in life has been shame. It all started at the age of 3, the moment my family immigrated to the U.S. from Korea. I remember having the thought... "I am 'other,'" many times as I grew up, and I internalized that I was a second-class citizen. I recently had the opportunity to heal these deep wounds I've been holding onto for far too long, and healing from this shame has been the biggest gift. For the first time in my life, I am able to move freely, realizing my own power and greatness! You deserve to share in this feeling of liberation too. That's why I'm creating an installation to generate healing and empowerment. An installation where people can release any pent-up anger, frustration, guilt, or shame they may be carrying. I'm collaborating with an artist of color to create a soundproof booth where people will enter one by one to release emotions, scream it out, or even just be in silence letting these emotions move through them. After the experience, participants will feel lighter and freer. Exiting the booth is a symbolic choice to continue through their day in peace, love, and unity. My mission is to heal the world of racial injustice and to unite all of humanity in our oneness moment by moment, this booth is the symbol for that mission!
I'm raising $3000 for this booth, the money will go towards the materials, the builder, and the artist of color. Planned launch date is September 8th.
