My name is Josee Doyon and I am from Quebec, Canada. I have been a professional golfer since 2017. Beforehand, I played for Kent State University where I competed for 4 years and graduated with 2 B.A's. This year, I am going to be competing on the Symetra Tour which is only one step away from the LPGA. I only have one goal in mind, to play on the LPGA. To reach this level, it takes lots of efforts, sacrifices, determination and also lots of financial support. I am very close to reach my goal, but being from a blue-collar family, sometimes it makes the process a little more difficult. If you know me personally you know that golf is more than a sport to me, it is my life. Playing full time requires time, dedication and resources and I cannot undertake this journey to the LPGA alone. Your contribution would allow me to practice and compete with the best in the world and also to really have a strong team around me.
Here's are some of my proudest achievements:
2020
· 1st place at Fall’s Classic Women Open at the Golf club of Georgia
· Made my 1st cut on Symetra in California with scores of 72,73,74
2019
· 1st place at the Helene Desmarais Memphremagog Cup - Winner by 7 strokes with scores of 72 and 72
· 2nd at the Tennessee Women Open - Scores of 71-73-70
· 4th on the NWGA Tour, California - Scores of 69-73-69
· 5th at the Illinois Women Open - Scores of 75-71-74
· Reach the 2nd Stage of LPGA Q-School to obtain my Symetra Status
2018
· 4th at the Connecticut Open
· 5th at the Tennessee Women Open
2017
· 1st at the Florida Elite Golf Tour
Amateur Career
· 1st at the NCAA Division 1 Ole Miss tournament
· 1st at the NCAA Division 1 Ohio State tournament
· 1st at the NCAA Division 1 MAC Conference Championship
· 1st at the Porter Cup Niagara Falls, NY
· 1st at the Quebec Amateur championship 2015 and 2016
Those results are just a few of my accomplishments throughout my career. 2021 is a very important year for me as I am only one step away from the LPGA. As you know, 2020 was a difficult year with COVID-19 but I was able to improve my game and play many events. My dream, my goal, is to play on the LPGA and that is why I need your help and support! I hope to have you join my team and my career!
