Road to recovery help for Katherine Elkins

Because we all know Kat would kill us for asking for help, we won’t admit to her who’s idea this was….on Saturday April 29th Kat was struck by a car on her bike leaving Jazzfest. The car fled the scene. By the grace of God an ambulance was right there and witnessed it. She was taken to University Med Center in New Orleans 2 mins away which saved her life. Although she is progressing at superhuman speed and stubbornness (no one is surprised by this lol), she has a long road and recovery ahead. We want to help with medical bills and just general life since the car fled the scene. Any help is greatly appreciated by us (and yes she will cringe when she finds out we did this for her)!
