Road to National Chamber Festival

In November 2017, Mr. Quentin Goins and Mr. Calvin L. Morris, Jr., Band Directors of Stephenson High School, were notified that Trombone Choir was accepted through a highly rigorous audition, the privilege to participate in the Music for All National Music Festival. The Trombone Choir was one of nine chamber groups selected out of the entire United States.
We are incredibly excited over this opportunity, but we must now consider the expense of transporting 15 piece Trombone Choir, Directors, and appropriate chaperones. This is a monumental project and we do not want any student musician left out because of funding. The cost of this trip is $800.00 per student; total estimated cost $15,000.00. These costs include the 2018 Music for All National Festival, transportation to Indianapolis, IN, meals(8), lodging(3 nights), and miscellaneous expenditures, i.e. photography, uniform shirts, gratuities, incidentals.
The group is under a state of urgency in which our performance is scheduled for March the 15th. We thank you in advanced for your support.
