Logan's Road to CCS Nationals

Hi everyone! My name is Logan DeCastro and I'm an Assistant Coach to Team Rock located in New Rochelle, NY.  This youth national team was just recently crowned SECOND IN THE NATION against top teams across the nation!!

I have been a coach for over two and half years and have been climbing for a total of five. I love this sport and giving everything I can while continuing my climbing education to become a better climber/athlete/coach.  

This year I qualified for my FIRST CCS Nationals and my LAST since I am graduating this semester from college. I am the ONLY competitor from SUNY Purchase.  With no team or captain, I placed 7th out of 75 in my first CCS local amongst top competitors from the Northeast!!

The top 20 competitors from the tri-state area battled for a spot to Nationals at Regionals this past weekend (March 24th) and I placed 6th out of 58 other competitors! So proud of my performance!

Nationals this year at in Houstn,TX and anything you can offer towards my journey to hopefully make the CCS Nationals Team for Bouldering would be a dream come true!!
