Kristen’s Medical Expenses

January 13th, 2023 our beloved mom was hit head on in an auto accident.

Kristen sustained many injuries from the waist down. She went into the ER with 4 compound fractures, both hips broken, both knees broken, major feet injuries, a liver laceration, fractured ribs and a fractured arm. Kristen needed a few blood transfusions and underwent a 4 hour emergency surgery to fix her compound fractures. Her staff and medical team expect about 10 or more surgeries to follow in the days and weeks to come.

Doctors say with the extent of her injuries that it is a miracle she had no brain trauma or spinal damage. She is expected to make a full recovery but has a long road to recovery. She is currently in the ICU and will be for weeks. The next 6 months to year will be the hardest for her as she will be in a wheelchair for most of it and undergoing lots of physical therapy.

This past year Kristen lost both of her parents within a year. Things have been tough on her but she has not once asked for help or shown the struggles she has been facing publicly. She is constantly giving and putting her friends and family’s need first. Her children would like to setup this gofund me to be able to relieve some financial stress for her in the weeks and months to come.
