RMC Equestrian Team Goes to Semis!

Hello, Welcome, and Thank You for taking interest in the Rocky Mountain College Equestrian Team!
This year, we are a group of about 20 ladies which consist of a mixture of equestrian and non-equestrian majors who have an interest in competitive horse shows. We compete through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), an organization which strives to bring equestrians together through a cooperative and positive show environment.
We proudly represent RMC as a club and have been working closely with both school staff and the local community for reach-out and volunteer projects. Our goal is to become a well-known and successful name in Billings and the IHSA association.
After a successful 2014-2015 show season in both English and Western, we are very excited to announce that one member of our English team and five members of our Western Team have earned their way to the next level of competition, English Zones and Western Semifinals; one step away from Nationals!
Western Semifinals: March 21-22 in OK
English Zones: April 4-5 in CA
The equestrian show world can be quite expensive, and the goal of IHSA is to make showing an obtainable activity for college students. Due to being a smaller team we have limited funds for higher-level show expenses- this is where we could use your help! We are hoping to be able to assist our team members with transportation, hotel, and show registration fees to Western Semifinals in El Reno, OK:
$300 in round-trip gas (per car) to Oklahoma
$800 for sleeping arrangements
$520 for show registration fees for the team
This will be the first year that RMC has earned full team (one rider at each level) representation at Western Semifinals, by winning high-point team for theregion; with a combination of our talented riders and your generosity we hope to carry the RMC banner all the way up to Nationals!
