Owen Smith Family Holiday Fund

This year our team of very non elite runners is raising sponsorship for a cause very close to our hearts. Young Owen Smith, our family friend and neighbour has had to under go gruelling cancer treatment involving a full knee replacement op and lots of chemotherapy, all at the tender age of 10 years old. Treatment has gone really well, and he is being cared for 24/7 by his loving parents Diane & Alan, both of whom have stopped work for the past 12 months to look after him. Obviously this creates a huge financial burden, and things like family trips and holidays fall by the wayside. So this year, the iPlodders would like to raise some money to give them a much needed break, so that Diane, Alan, Owen and his younger sister Emma can enjoy some much needed family fun and recuperative time together. The Nike British London 10K is on July 8th, and we'll be giving our all. Please help us out by making a donation to our cause.
