River Song Teachers' Fund

Though the circumstances surrounding the issues at River Song School are murky, the outcome for the teachers is clear: They have not been paid for the past month of May, and it's entirely likely that they will not be paid for June... or at any point in the near future.

Many of us, as parents, paid tuition in advance, and we don't know when or if we'll see that money returned. Many of us will now be struggling to find alternative education and care arrangements for our children. Many of us are angry that this situation arose in the first place.

But those struggles pale in comparison to what these teachers will now be facing: unpaid salary for May, and, suddenly, no certainty for income in the future. The teachers at River Song are blameless here. Like us and our children, they're victims of this sorry situation.

The goal of this GoFundMe is to raise money as a gift to support the River Song teachers who take such great care of our children and help us mold our kids into the people we hope they can be. This money will be gifted to our teachers to help them pay their living expenses until their professional situation is resolved.

Please share this GoFundMe far and wide--with grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends and family; on social media, via email, via word of mouth, everywhere--to bring as much awareness to this situation as we can. Everything helps.
