River James Surgery Fund

Hello, my name is Uncle Mike (to River anyway) and I am hoping to raise money to help River get a series of surgeries that will be out of state and cost his parents more than they can afford right now. When River was just a few hours old my niece Lexie and her husband Jarrett learned that he was born with a condition called hypospadias, where the urethra develops on the base of the penis. River has had two previous surgeries in Tulsa that were unsuccessful. They have consulted with other surgeons and finally found one that they trust and feel confident that he can help River. Dr. Warren Snodgrass with Hypospadias specialty center in Dallas, Texas is said to be the best in the country. They consulted with Dr. Snodgrass six months ago and learned that River's surgery is far more complex than it had been previously communicated and will require a series of three surgeries to complete

Because this is out of state and will require travel and unpaid time off of work for Jarrett and Lexie and because this is out of network for their insurance plan, I am trying to help raise money to ease their financial burden.
