River Fire Destroys Home of Young Family of 4

Melanie, her husband Efrain (Junior) and their two precious babies lost their home and all of their possessions in the devastating River Fire in Salinas, California on August 16th.  Melanie and Junior are the epitome of caring and have always been there for all others at the drop of a hat.  Melanie has just returned to work at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital after delivering their sweet baby boy, Xavier.  Three year old Aurora lights up any room she enters with her flowing long curls and mischievous smile.  They cherished their home on the hill, overlooking the community they have both grown up in and plan to raise their family in.  It will take a lot to recover from this devastation but as the strong Salinas community that we are, I know we can all pitch in to help them on their long road ahead.
