In Loving Memory of Rita Volkov,
More than 20 years ago Leon, her husband, moved to Minnesota, where he was blessed to find his soulmate. When Rita turned 18 they got married and from that moment on they become an example of what a loving family should be. Nothing could bring them down, they showed everyone what it was like to be a team. Rita blessed the family with three beautiful baby boys, and did everything in her power to make sure they were loved and protected. Rita was god’s gift to our family, a warrior.
Rita was one of the strongest people there was. She was caring, compassionate, strong willed, and family oriented. She made the darkest of days bright again, and there was nothing that could bring her down. She truly was an inspiration to all, and still is. Even with her condition, she put family first. Never telling anyone about her health, and trying her best to support her family. Rita was a warrior, who continued to fight all the way through. She has touched everyone she’s come across, family, friends and strangers.

Our dear friends and family,
We are writing this with a heavy heart, as we never in our lives expected the worst to happen. For three months Rita was fighting the hardest battle there is, cancer. Never had we thought that we would lose her.
Our family is broken over this lose, and there are just no words that will ever be able to ease this pain. Currently, Rita is at a hospital in Florida, far away from her home in Minnesota. A home where three kids are still expecting their mom to come home. We are asking for your help to bring her HOME, where we can give her the proper funeral that this strong loving mother deserves. Her family and friends need to be able to hold her close where they can visit her and speak with her…
