Rising Black Stars First Campaign

Rising Black Stars is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving children and distributing education supplies to those in need in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and beyond. By collecting school supplies and the finances necessary to purchase and ship them, we help provide tools necessary to facilitate learning that students in need may not have had the means to purchase otherwise. 

By donating, you are directly contributing to the learning goals of classrooms and students in need in the Greater Accra region, and thus arming them with the tools necessary to empower themselves and take control of their own destinies. All donations will go to the purchase and collection of school supplies, the costs to ship the supplies from the US or purchase them directly in Ghana, the needs of volunteers on the ground in Ghana to distribute the supplies, and all associated costs with supporting this process.

Rising Black Stars is a nonprofit corporation in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) status. All donations received will become retroactively tax-exempt to the extent allowed by law upon receipt of determination by the IRS.
