It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we must do what is needed to "Honor" a Charismatic, Vibrant Young Man who touched countless lives both in and out of the Boxing Ring.
Travell "Black Magic" Mazion was taken way too soon from us and that has left an enormous void in all our hearts. We will never recover from the heartbreak we are suffering now. Our only prayer is that the Lord helps us endure and overcome the very difficult days that lie ahead for all of us who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out with an out-pouring of love, prayers and kind words.
In response to the many fans, friends and family that have been inquiring on how they can help with a "Financial Love Offering", we have created this Campaign as a tool in which you can show your love with a monetary contribution.
Those that knew Travell and followed his boxing career, also know that his profession was put at a halt when the Covid19 Pandemic hit the US early this year. Although many great opportunities awaited him around the corner, his unexpected trip to his Heavenly Home has now placed a heavier burden on a grieving family.
Travell was the type of Man that would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back, his heart was that of a giver...not a taker. He was more than a Champion in the Ring, he was a World Class Champion out of the Ring as well.
If you want to honor him now, help his family, help them so that they can grieve without any financial worries and hardships. Every penny raised will go directly to his Mother Valerie Tookes, who will distribute accordingly in Travell's honor and memory.
We thank you and wish you love, peace and comfort. May the Lord keep you in his perfect peace & and May the Lord receive our Beloved Travell into his Kingdom, which was a place prepared just for him.
