RIP Moyai Smith

アメリカ時間の7月15日、もやい スミスさんがお亡くなりになりました。1年間の闘病生活の末にリハビリ施設にて頑張っておられましたので、今回とても残念でなりません。高額なアメリカの医療費を考えても、1年間の入院費、ICUにいた数ヶ月や手術代もろもろ、想像ができないくらいの負担が家族にあると思われます。葬儀は行われないとのことですが、火葬場に見送り人が入るのにもコストがかかるそうです。そこで、もやいスミスファミリーにヘルプドネーションを募らせていただきます。少しでもご家族の助けになれたらと思います。どうか、もやいさんファミリーをご存知の方は、この情報を拡散していただき、お力を貸していただけると嬉しいです。よろしくお願い致します。

***追記 お問い合わせがありましたので追記します。この募金は具体的に葬儀費用や医療費返済にむけた募金活動ではありません。もやいさんと交流のあった友人たちで、何かしらの形で残されたもやいさんファミリーをサポートしましょう、という目的です。今の所、葬儀やお別れ会の予定はないそうです。

My beloved friend Moyai Smith passed away on July 15th. She'd been through surgeries, few months in ICU, and fighting to get better for the past year. It is too sad and unreal. I can't imagine what her family is going through right now. I would like to help the Smith Family in any way I can, and I opened this fundraising account.
