Riley Frederick Medical Fund

One of my very dear friends is going through an extremely difficult time. She is the most amazing person and a true friend in every sense of the word. She always goes above and beyond to take care of those in need, especially her son. Her son has been sick for years with a debilitating disease and a cause that has eluded doctors up to this point. It’s his senior year in high school and his illness has kept him home almost half the school year so far. Niki is a single mom and has done countless hours of research to find a way to give her son some relief. She’s taken Riley to see 22 doctors at several medical institutions including UC Davis, UC San Francisco and Stanford. No medical specialist so far has been able to diagnose his illness. They are now saddled with $52,000 in mounting medical bills and in serious financial trouble. She’s on the verge of losing her house and I’m hoping we can band together and help her save the home she’s worked so hard to build for her and her son. Currently, she is working five jobs to make ends meet, but the huge medical debt is making it impossible for her to catch up.
