Cycling 50 Miles for Callie
Donation protected

Last week, Callie was diagnosed with a devastating infant and child cancer, neuroblastoma. She went from being a healthy and vibrant two-year-old to having this cancer attack her body very quickly.
Callie is receiving amazing care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles but will have to undergo 18 months of treatment including intensive chemo, stem cell transplant and immunotherapy. She started chemo on the day of her diagnosis and her body is already responding well. She is a little warrior and so strong and beautiful.
Of course the treatment and related costs will skyrocket. Lily’s friends set up a GoFundMe but Norah and I would like to round up some East Coast support for Callie too!
To raise funds for Callie, I will be riding 50 miles on Saturday, August 24th (with Norah in the bike seat for at least half of it). We have never done a ride this long but Callie’s strength is inspiring.
We are asking friends and family to donate $1 or $2 per mile or whatever you can (less or more, I am grateful for any donation). Friends are also welcome to join us for all or part of the ride (starting at 10am at the W&OD trail Arlington access point). Please feel free to also join our fundraising team!
This diagnosis is just heartbreaking but there is so much hope at the end of this. #TEAMCALLIE
