Ridgefield Kids Lose Mom

The first time I met the twins, Steven and Jacob, was at my son's birthday party. I was pleasantly surprised by these young 13 year old men coming up to me with a handshake to introduce themselves. Later that evening, I met their mom and told her how impressed I was with her sons and their incredible manners.
Since that day, over the next 2 years, my family and I have enjoyed getting to know these boys. We have taken them out with us on our boat, while their mom had another young baby. All the while, these boys keeping us laughing with their sense of humor and continuing to impress with their kindness and manners. People complain about teenagers and how selfish and self-absorbed they are, those phrases do not represent these boys.
Sadly, their mom passed away today from health complications. It breaks my heart to think these young men and baby are now without a mother. Any money raised will go to this family and the various expenses that are undoubtedly to arise.
