Just like America’s police officers, firefighters and medical staff are on the front line of this pandemic, so are rideshare drivers like Uber, Lyft doordash, GrubHub, postmaster. The only difference between these agencies/staff workers and rideshare drivers is that they all have full medical protection and retirement plans, while rideshare drivers do not.
Rideshare drivers are on the frontline of the pandemic with no medical protection and retirement plans for themselves or their loved ones, yet they are still helping thousands of essential workers get to where they are going. They are also helping millions of Americans receive life or death essentials, such as food and medicine, so people don’t have to go out and infect or become infected by the coronavirus. And these same drivers are doing all this with no protection at all. To date, several drivers have been infected. Now, they need your help.
NAA Worldwide is a rideshare association for all rideshare drivers. There are over 2.5 million rideshare drivers in the US. Now as a result of the coronavirus, over 70% of the drivers are not driving. We are asking for your help. Please make a generous donation today to help our Uber, Lyft, and rideshare communities.
