Ride the Isle for Emilia
Donation protected
On the 27th April 2024 Ross, Becky, James, Lee, Martin, Rob and Trevor will be riding round the Isle of Wight, all 105km in one day.
We are doing this in order to raise money to help support our friends Liz and Brett who’s beautiful daughter Emilia has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumour, known as Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG).
The money raised will be given to them to use as they please, whether that be for medical bills, a holiday or days out for Emilia and her little brother George.
Unfortunately Emilia’s condition is rare and aggressive. The only treatment option currently available to her is a promising paid-for drug called ONC-201 from Germany which is still in trial phases worldwide.
We want Emilia to benefit from these medicines which comes at significant cost of £250 per tablet.
This totals to a huge amount of money every month in such a challenging financial climate.
Please donate what you can.
We will update this page soon with further information.
25/03/24 The training is going well all of us have been out on the bikes at weekends covering some big distances in bad weather. Hopefully we will have done good weather on the day. No doubt it will be windy!
