Ride the bean 

Hi!

We are Ride the Bean and we have a pretty crazy dream.

Ride the Bean consists of Pia, a nurse and Kenneth, a coffee roaster.

We're looking to make our days count rather than count the days, and for that we need your help! 

We have decided to ride our motorcycles all the way from Cape north in Norway to Cape Town in South Africa.

While we prepare for this journey  we started a YouTube channel to share our progress.

We both love nature and camping, coffee and meeting interesting people. And if you combine those it gets even better.

Pia just took her motorcycle licence and we´re both pretty inexperienced when it comes to two-wheel travel. This is a huge undertaking and it may sound pretty stupid: two inexperienced people driving from Norway to Africa. But life is all about facing challenges, right? 

This will cost a lot of money though, something we don't really have.
We are saving up as much as we can, and working toward financing our trip.
Hopefully we will make it, but hope doesn´t help if you don´t work, and you miss every shot you don´t take =) 

We estimate our trip will be about 65000 km total and will cost about 100 000 NOK  in just gas. And probably about the same in food and board if not more. 

We appreciate any support we get, wether it be teaching us how to change a tire on a bike or a donation.
