OFG Wings Home 500
I want to announce that from the 1st of July thru mid-August the OFG and The Viper will be putting on 500 miles to raise money for Wing Home in Allegan. I’m asking you to pledge your dollars to support this special organization and its extraordinary service they make available to our community. Will you help? Make a pledge per mile or a flat amount. Anything you can do is truly appreciated.
The Wings Home is an end-of-life care home that provides compassionate care in a home like atmosphere to Wings of Hope Hospice patients during the last days of their lives. There is no cost to live at Wings Home. It is ENTIRELY supported by the support of its community. Volunteers and staff provide 24-hour care.
This is part of my commitment to Wings Home, to the community and to myself in my drive to ‘Rock the Rehab’!! Following my open heart surgery at the end of last November, my commitment to myself is to follow through and stay as active as I can and show the entire community that even an Old Fat Guy can remain active after major surgery…AND HAVE FUN DOING IT!
