Fighting Against Cancer

Our dad and hero fought for our country in the Vietnam war. During that fight he was blown up by a mine and that is where his medical issues started. After having a tracheostomy on scene and a fight for his life he did not give up. As the years went on our dad has suffered short term memory loss and many other health issues but again has always fought through everything. Now our dad faces another hurdle in his health. He has recently been diagnosed with cancer and fighting hard to beat it. As he keeps fighting and climbing that hill to be cancer free he has faced so many set backs. It is so hard watching our dad go through this and our mom always right by his side. The one thing, other than his family, that keeps our dad happy is his GTO. Since all of our dad's medical issues he has not been able to finish his GTO and get it in the road. We found a guy that my dad trusts to make the final finishing touches on his GTO and get it on the road. Our hope is to get his baby on the road and let him finally enjoy it.
