Rick Johnson final expenses

Donation protected
After the house fire December of 19 dad's health declined pretty fast. He was worried about the family's future first and foremost and spent his last year with us preparing for what appeared to be inevitable and soon. We replaced the house and are working to finish repairing the property. He loved his family and his pets more than anything else in the world. His biggest concerns were about my mother being alone after he was gone. He was the strongest man I've ever known. He request that we not hold a funeral or service of any kind and wanted donations to his family for his final expenses or to the local maury county animal shelter instead of flowers. I've had several people contact me in the short time since he has passed with lots of questions and asking if they can help so I decided to put this together to explain it and give people the option to support him if they want. He had been living in heart failure for years and had a pace maker and defibrillator put in to help him manage that in 2019 after that had gotten much worse. He had been in renal failure for years as well and had been doing dialysis 3 times a weeks for last few months. Unfortunately his body has just had all it could take and we lost him Sunday afternoon. I'm thankful to all the people that helped with his care and the people who worked so hard to keep him with us yesterday. I'm most thankful for the time we had with him. It truly was borrowed time. To everyone reading this thank you as well. It means so much to all of us to know he touched so many lives in his short time here.
