Richard went to the ER on Friday 11/22/2019 in severe pain with what they thought was an abcess.
During several ultrasounds and tests they discovered he had extreme infection and started antibiotics.
The next morning Saturday 11/23/2019 they discovered that he had such a severe infection that they did immediate surgery.
Sunday 11/24/2019 he was still in extreme pain
Monday 11/25/2019 he was diagnosed with MRSA (staph in the bloodstream) and has been told over the last few days that he will most likely be out of work recovering for up to 3 months.
As of Wednesday 11/27/2019 he is still in hospital and don't know when he will get to come home. They are waiting on Wound Specialist to find out how to care for his wound from surgery. His wound site is the size of a baseball and he has a very long recovery.
Richard supports his wife, and helps support his daughter and 3 grandchildren that live with him..
He does have insurance but it will not cover everything and he has no long or short term disability to help cover his medical and help provide for his family for next few months.
Any and all donations, help, thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated .
Update: Wednesday 11/26/2019 .... 8pm. Richard got to go home this afternoon .. he will be under home health care for at least 2 months.. keep prayers coming... he is still in a lot of pain.
