Richard Clement Memorial Fund

Our beloved Richard recently passed on December 15, 2020. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his wife Cindy, his 2-year-old daughter Amelia, Father Dale, Mother Jill, Brother Chuck and Grandparents. Richard also leaves behind his 12-year-old sister-in-law Sieh Lee, who he helped raise as his own daughter.

For such a short life, Richard had accomplished a lot. Some of Richard’s most proud accomplishments were purchasing his first home, having his first child, and buying his first family car for their growing family. Richard dedicated his life to his friends and family. Through his hard work, Richard was able to be the sole provider for his family.

Richard’s greatest loves in life were his wife of three years, Cindy, daughter Amelia, and being a professional truck driver. He excelled at his job at Hunt and Sons and enjoyed his work. Richard took pride in having one of the cleanest trucks on the road, spending extra time to wash, clean, and polish his beloved work truck. If you knew Richard, then you would know how his lifelong goal was to be a trucker just like his dad Dale, and how proud he was to be working alongside his father. Aside from being a loving, wonderful father and husband, Richard was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

In August of 2020, Richard was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was expected to live a long life after his treatment. Richard has endured several long months of chemotherapy and was winning his battle with cancer, having just completed his final round of chemo. Richard had gotten a common skin infection which doctors had anticipated could be treated with antibiotics. Due to his weakened immune system from the rigorous rounds of chemotherapy, Richard unexpectedly and tragically lost his precious life at such a young age.

Given the success of Richard’s cancer treatment, this loss was unexpected to his family. We are all devastated by Richard’s sudden loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We are praying that we may provide Richard, through your compassionate generosity, a celebration of his life that he deserves.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Richard’s funeral. Richard served as the sole provider for his family, leaving his wife and daughter behind with no source of income while they grieve their beloved husband and father. We are needing to raise $30,000 to aid the family in covering Richard’s funeral, medical bills, and other everyday expenses.

We are in need of $15,000.00 by January 1, 2021 to cover the costs of his funeral. Of another importance, we feel it would be so advantageous if another additional $15,000.00 could be raised for remaining bills and assistance with mortgage, car payments and daily living until they get back on their feet.

Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help his family during this difficult time. Take care and May God Bless You.

Thank You.
