LT Rhiannon Ross Memorial Fund
This page has been created in memory of LT Rhiannon Ross who was taken too soon from this earth. May your contributions help those grieving her loss, aid in burial services, go towards flowers in her honor, help the family as they travel, and create a platform to continue the legacy of the beautiful life she lived.
LT Rhiannon Ross was lost while serving her country on 23 October, 2020 during a training flight in Pensacola, FL. As a former MH-60S pilot in HSC-26, Rhiannon was looked up to by all in her community as well as in her follow-on instructor tour at VT-2 for her gift of flying and ability to positively impact others.
She was an amazing person whose selfless character drew everyone to her. We are all better for having known Rhiannon and to have been impacted by her love, spirit, and kindness.
This page is managed by LT Katie Greiner, HT-8, work colleague of Rhiannon's husband, Jason and fellow Naval Aviator. Katie is supporting the family with outreach during this difficult time for immediate funds and response as we move forward with the service. ALL money will be given to Rhiannon's family for things that may not be covered. Rhiannon's husband Jason McCabe is designated to withdraw funds.
For further questions, Katie will be able to direct you appropriately or to the designated CACO. Flowers can currently be placed at the VT-2 brick sign in front of the VT-2 Squadron building flagpole on NAS Whiting Field
