Team Marilyn

On Wednesday, August 8, just weeks after celebrating her 53rd birthday with her family, Marilyn suffered a devastating brain aneurysm. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors immediately performed an endovascular coiling procedure that was unsuccessful. Marilyn later underwent more than 11 1/2 hours of surgery in which doctors were able clip the aneurysm. The surgery was successful, but left Marilyn with very limited movement on her left side. Doctors performed another surgical procedure to try to increase movement on the left side and it's now a waiting game. With months of physical and occupational therapy in store, medical costs are rising quickly.
