Reunite a family and create memories

In 2016, my big sister, Ameena faced the formidable challenge of stage 3 lobular breast cancer and navigated surgery and radiotherapy with unwavering resilience and strength. We were all overjoyed when she was given the all

clear and every year that passed gave us more confidence that the cancer would not return. Ameena used this 7 years to help others by channeling her lived experience into Let’s Talk Hope, an award winning cancer support group. This group was a poignant tribute to our late father, who succumbed to stomach cancer in 2019.

Tragically, the echoes of November 2023 ushered in a new chapter – a persistent cough, unyielding and haunting. Despite dismissals by healthcare professionals, Ameena's insistence led to an X-ray unveiling a grim reality: her breast cancer had returned, metastasized and was no longer curable.

This fundraising endeavour emerges as a beacon of collective compassion, aiming to realise Ameena’s paramount wish – a reunion with her children and grandchildren, some of which live abroad. It is my earnest hope to repay the altruism she has showered upon countless others through Let’s Talk Hope and rally to make her poignant bucket-list dreams a reality- please help my sister at this difficult time
