Mom has given back her entire life, now she is forced to ask for help. Mom has been in the hospital since August 6. Started out with short of breath...the on call doctor told her to goto Now Care who sent her to the ER who admitted her to the Hospital. She has had open heart surgery, was in the ICU for 3 days. Her heart did not recover it’s sinus rhythm so today she is having a pacemaker installed.
This has not only stressful but the co-pays are going to be overwhelming.
Moms dogs have had to be kenneled the entire time.
Not sure yet if she will have to go to a rehab facility after she is released from the hospital or if we will have to hire some sort of home care help.
I’m spending 12-16 hours per day at the hospital with mom.
Asking for help is not something I do, just trying to help Mom with all that’s is coming at us
