With your unwavering support, we have successfully honored the life of Brahm Persaud Sr. Please join us for the homegoing ceremony at the City of Praise Family Ministries (8501 Jericho City Drive, Landover, MD 20785) on March 14, 2024. The viewing will commence at 10 am, followed by the service at 11 am. Your presence will mean the world to us as we come together to celebrate and remember Brahm with honor.

It is with heavy hearts that we come to you to share the news of the sudden passing of Retired Lieutenant Brahm Persaud Sr of the Metropolitan Police Department. Lieutenant (Ret) Persaud, a devoted Son, Father, Grandfather, and a beloved community staple, left us on February 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with mental illness and physical ailments.

Brahm's departure has left a void in our lives, and we are determined to honor his memory by coming together to support his family during this challenging time. Our goal with this fundraiser is to alleviate the financial burden on the family by covering funeral and ceremonial expenses. Additionally, we aim to contribute to the college fund of Brahm's youngest daughter Indie, as well as provide assistance with the family's home finances.

Brahm was not only a dedicated public servant but also a wonderful father and grandfather. His life was a testament to love, family, and community service. He found joy in spending time with his loved ones, indulging in hobbies he cherished, and making the most of every moment. An outgoing and all-around great man, Brahm made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Having served honorably for 22 years in the Metropolitan Police Department, Brahm was a dedicated servant of the community. He touched the lives of countless families, offering his support through acts of selflessness, from toy donations to hosting circuses and more. His legacy of community service will be remembered for generations to come.

Lieutenant (Ret) Persaud is survived by his children Krishnu, Dwayne, Mahadeo, Kevin (Deceased), Ranee, Priyadarshini, Brahm Jr., and Indie; and grandchildren Jordan Smith, Khloe and Kenneth Kendall, Kendrick Lynch and Amaira Manning. As we come together to mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, we invite you to contribute to this fund as a gesture of support and gratitude for Brahm's life and legacy.

All donations will go directly towards funeral and ceremonial expenses, Indie's college fund, and the family's home finances. Your generosity will not only help the family during this difficult time but will also ensure that Brahm's impact on the community continues to be felt.
