My name is Norma and I’m raising funds to help my daughter pay for the care and treatment of Havoc. Havoc came into the family as my son in law’s K9 with Ogden City Police Dept. Havoc worked with OPD from 2014-2020.

Retired K9 Officer Havoc is in the puppy hospital with unanswered questions too his illness. He went in to the ER on February 7th due to breathing issues and symptoms of dehydration and is still in the hospital fighting for his life.

His parents were told that he had cancer and a UTI and was sent home with antibiotics. Throughout the night, he was unable to keep food and water in him. He went back to the ER hours late. The cancer diagnosis is undetermined as they have not been able to find any tumors or where the abnormal cells are coming from.

At this time- Havoc is struggling for his life. He has had X-rays, blood work, CT scans with no answers. His family stays with him as much as they can at the hospital. The expenses are rising as they continue to try to find out what is wrong with him so that they can make the best decision for his treatment. His dad is still a police officer and his mom is a full time student with a minimal part time job and they have two young children. The costs of his treatments and care continue to increase.

Havoc has had a successful career with the Ogden Police Dept. He was excited to go work. When dad put on his uniform, Havoc was ready to go! He has a number of accomplishments under his vest and never let his partner down. Havoc always came through and had his partners back always. Havoc has been awarded for his achievements including saving a citizen’s life as well as his partners.

Havoc retired in 2020 and lives with his partner, my daughter and two grandchildren. He loves his walks and his favorite- tug o war with the kids. Havoc is a special K9 to his family. He thinks he’s a lap and does not hesitate to crawl on anyone’s lap once they sit down. He’s loving and loyal. He’s always been a member of the family from the time he arrived. He knew the difference between work and home life.

Havoc’s ears perk up and his tail wags a bit when his family is allowed to visit. He has enough fight left in him get through thus time. We are not giving up on him. He has protected so many and now he protects his family full time.
