Retford U8’s

The definition of grassroots football, this small squad of hard working, dedicated and passionate players have come a long way in their short football journey. Turning up week after week come rain or shine, they don the colours of our town, our community, giving there all whilst wearing the badge of Retford FC with pride. On May the 2nd 2021 they entered and won their group in the Keepmoat Cup held in Doncaster; this now means they will represent Retford FC on May 31st 2021 in the National academy Keepmoat cup finals held at the home of Doncaster Rovers FC. They will have the opportunity to test themselves against some of the finest young talent from across the United Kingdom.

However, they need our help; entering this tournament comes at a price and we want to raise the money to give these youngsters a chance to walk on the turf of the Keepmoat, soak up the atmosphere and put our town Retford on the football map.
