Restore the Organ

The Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion has a Hook and Hastings Opus 726 Organ that is over 100 years old as it was constructed in 1873. It is currently in need of some repairs and improvements. We are looking for help from the music-loving community as we preserve this instrument that has served us so well.
Our goal is to raise enough money to help do the renovations necessary to the Organ as well as provide for future tunings and repairs. This GoFundMe is part of a larger fundraising strategy that also includes a concert at the church on Sunday March 12th starting at 3 p.m. The concert will have a free-will offering but no ticket cost.
If we can restore our Organ it will allow us to host more community concerts and events as well as preserve the arts here in Philadelphia. The Organ is an integral part of our Worship as well as our community events. The Organ currently has 2,264 pipes. We are asking that you "sponser a pipe" at $25 dollars a pipe. This would give us our grand total of $56,600. You could sponsor one pipe, or 10 for $250. If we can fund all the pipes then we can have enough to restore the Organ and ensure its future care. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
