Restore Vandalized Survivors Memorial

My name is Nina Johnson and I am raising money on behalf of my friend and mentor, St Paul artist Lori Greene.

In 2020, after 5 years of planning and design, Lori Greene and Sarah Super created a memorial to honor survivors of sexual assault. This week this beautiful and powerful work of art has, for the second time this year, been attacked by vandals.

The piece was deliberately smashed. Several sections of the mosaic and the granite panel have been damaged, including the complete erasure of the face of a Black woman.

Please give what you can to help cover the costs of repairing this important landmark. Your donations will allow us to repair the work and install security cameras.

Time is of the essence, as repairs must be done before winter sets in to prevent further damage.

Broken hearts are less easy to repair, but restoring this artwork will go a long way to bringing dignity back to this memorial and to the survivors it honors. Thank you for your contributions, and please share this with your friends!
