Help Fix and Restore the Bell Tower of Alfedena

Every summer my mom and dad (Severino and Gianna Giacomantonio of Detroit, Michigan) visit their hometown of Alfedena. This past summer during their visit it came to their attention that the bell tower ("il campanile") at the church is in need of repair. The town has been trying to raise money to fix it, but with a small population of older citizens who don't have a lot of money, it's been a slow process. With so many ancestors and descendants of Alfedena living in the United States, we thought it would be a nice gesture to see if we could help the town raise enough funds to fix the church bell as well us clean and restore it.
Those of you who have had the privilege to visit this small, historic town in Italy (built in 6th century BC) know what a special place it is. The church is an integral part of the community and it would mean a lot to help them out. If you have the means, any donation (i.e. $5, $10, $20) to this cause would be appreciated. My parents are raising the funds on behalf of the church and 100% of your donation will be given directly to the church organizer in charge of this effort, Nella Amorosi. At the end of the campaign, a check will be mailed directly to Nella. We will send out an update once this is done to let everyone know how much we raised.
As you will read from the flyer below, about $1530 (1350 euros) is needed to fix the bell and another $7060 (6200 euros) is needed to clean and restore it. Our goal is to help fix the bell and any other funds raised will go towards the restoration.
